Organizational Support Ottawa | TGI

Help your people navigate difficult events with care and clarity.

TGI supports workplaces, schools, teams and communities responding to trauma, grief, critical events and the ongoing work of building psychologically healthier environments.

When people are affected, the whole system feels the impact.

A death, violent event, serious incident, organizational crisis or prolonged period of stress can affect attention, trust, communication, attendance and a team’s sense of safety.

A thoughtful response acknowledges the human impact while respecting different needs, roles, cultures and ways of coping. TGI works with leaders to clarify priorities and shape support that fits the event and organization.

Safety First

Immediate physical safety, emergency procedures and urgent needs remain the first priority.

People Centred

Support recognizes that individuals may need different information, choices and pathways.

Practical

Recommendations are connected to leadership decisions, communication and available resources.

Organizational support can take different forms.

The right response depends on what happened, who was affected, current safety, timing, location and the organization’s existing supports.

Critical Event Response

Structured, trauma informed group support following a distressing event affecting a workplace, team or community.

Workplace Wellness Workshops

Practical, engaging workshops designed around your team, workplace and organizational wellness goals.

Group Breathwork

A guided Elemental Rhythm Breathwork experience for workplace retreats, team events and shared wellness experiences.

When a critical event affects your team, support matters.

TGI’s Critical Event Response provides structured, trauma informed group support following a distressing event. A typical on-site response is scheduled for approximately two hours, from the time we arrive until we leave, and may include facilitated discussion, education about common stress responses, practical strategies and information about additional support.

The purpose is to help reduce isolation and uncertainty, strengthen connection within the group, and identify those who may benefit from further support. It is available to people who have been affected directly, as well as colleagues, leaders and others affected indirectly.

A professional team gathering for thoughtful discussion and support

Workplace wellness workshops designed around your team.

Trauma informed education can help leaders and teams understand stress responses, grief, psychological safety, communication and appropriate referral.

Training is shaped around the audience and setting. It can support workplaces, schools, health services, community organizations and other teams that regularly encounter difficult events or support people under stress.

Bring breathwork to your next team event.

Invite TGI to your workplace retreat or team-building event for a guided group Elemental Rhythm Breathwork experience. Participants move through a carefully structured journey combining intentional breathing, music, movement and guided meditation.

The experience may help participants release built-up stress and emotion, quiet a busy mind, gain clarity and feel more connected to themselves. No previous breathwork experience is needed, and each person can adjust their participation to their own comfort level.

How organizational support begins.

A clear intake helps define priorities, fit and realistic next steps.

Initial conversation

Share the event, affected groups, timing, current risks and the support already available.

Needs and scope review

Clarify objectives, audience, location, accessibility, confidentiality and organizational responsibilities.

Coordinated plan

Agree on services, timing, communication, facilitators, fees and referral pathways.

Delivery and review

Provide the agreed support, gather relevant feedback and identify any further needs.

Clear scope protects everyone involved.

TGI organizational support is not an emergency dispatch service. If there is immediate danger, a medical emergency or an urgent threat, contact local emergency services and follow the organization’s emergency procedures.

Group education or stabilization is not the same as individual psychotherapy. Confidentiality, records, consent and referral expectations should be explained clearly for each service.

Share any immediate safety concerns and actions already taken.
Discuss accessibility, confidentiality, format, fees and referral options.

Questions about organizational support.

Workplaces, schools, health services, community organizations and other groups may inquire. Fit depends on the event, needs, location, timing, scope and available clinicians.

Timing depends on availability, location, scope and the information provided. Contact TGI as soon as practical, but do not delay emergency action while waiting for a reply.

Some consultation, education and support may be available virtually when appropriate. Format depends on the service, audience, location, privacy and clinical considerations.

Organizations can inquire about education shaped around their audience, setting and goals. Scope, learning outcomes, format, timing and fees are confirmed before delivery.
