Evidence-Based Therapy
Some examples of the approaches we offer:
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
Address symptoms of trauma & loss such as intrusive images, hypervigilance, emotional numbness, & avoidance.
EMDR involves the use of talk therapy and dual attention stimulation such as eye movements, hand buzzers, or tapping. Other modalities and protocols such as EMDR-GRIEF, talk therapy, parts/ego state work, narrative therapy, and mindfulness may be integrated.
This approach can be offered as part of an EMDR intensive program individually, in a group setting, or as part of a TGI retreat.

EMDR Grieving Reconnection Integration & Enrichment Framework (EMDR-GRIEF)
EMDR-GRIEF is an EMDR adapted protocol designed to help individuals process grief and trauma, manage overwhelming emotions, and find meaning after loss. It honours the natural grieving process while fostering resilience and emotional balance. Some may also experience an After-Death Communication (ADC), a natural and meaningful connection with their loved one that can bring comfort and peace.
This approach can be offered as part of an EMDR intensive program individually, in a group setting, or as part of a TGI retreat.

Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP)
Through the power of frequency and sound, turn down the volume of your stress & auditory sensitivity. Based on Polyvagal Theory, SSP is often used as part of preparation for trauma therapy, but can also be administered as a stand alone.
This approach involves multiple sessions of listening to music with headphones, and can be offered as part of an intensive program individually, in a group setting, or as part of a TGI retreat.

Parts Work
Parts work is also known as inner child work, shadow work, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Ego State Therapy. It is a way of understanding the different sides of ourselves, each with its own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It helps people recognize and work through inner conflicts, allowing for healing and a better sense of self.
